GAME has sold Belong, their network of esports arenas, to US startup company Vindex for a reported $50 million. The news comes via the Financial Times, and later confirmed by Vindex themselves. The company was announced as the first esports company to join the World Economic Forum’s Global Innovators Community in 2020. Vindex will now operate Belong Gaming in the US from its New York headquarters, and immediately begin rolling out Belong Arenas across the US. Vindex has said that it plans to invest $300 million in the Belong brand over the next five years and intends to open over 500 arenas in the United States as well as 1,000 locations around the world.
